The Team Leader/ Key expert 1 will facilitate and coordinate the implementation of the project. S/he will also be in charge of directly implementing the activities related to Component 1 of the project.
S/he will be responsible for the overall quality and timelines of the team's performance and its delivered outputs as well as the reporting (including financial) and direct communication with the Contracting Authority (with the support of the backstopping team).
Therefore, s/he will have to demonstrate the following in the course of the project implementation: excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented and service-oriented work style; self-motivated, ability to work independently; eye for detail/accuracy, resilience in stressful situation; ability to dialogue with national authorities and institutional structures in Europe and in third countries.
The Team Leader will work at least 70% of her/his time in GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE). She/he is expected to travel extensively within the GCC region and within the EU as relevant.
