Human Dynamic’s EuropeAid project Capacity Building of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving in Ukraine has recently concluded having achieved all its outcomes.
As the leading consortium partner — among EGIS EAU, ENSI-Energy Savings International, SEWCO International and the ETC group — Human Dynamics is pleased to have partnered with the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving (SAEE).
The project has made a sustained difference to energy efficiency outcomes in the Ukraine. Project achievements include the draft national standards for energy efficiency, a communication strategy, and an 'Update to the Ukraine’s National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2012-2020.' Human Dynamics has also provided specialist training to a further 590 SAEE employees and we have redesigned the organisation’s web presence.
A key highlight is the graduation of 22 SAEE staff from a specially specially tailored Energy Efficiency MBA Programme on 10 December 2014. This first generation of graduates will provide a core of experts to continue the programme’s achievements.
The importance of growing, building and enhancing the expertise in the sphere of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources, in such a quickly growing economy as Ukraine, in the conditions of volatile markets and constantly changing political environment, could hardly be over-estimated.
Not only does Energy Efficiency save the money, not only is it good for the environment or improve the quality of life, but — and this is the most important part — Energy Efficiency meliorates the country economy on an all-national level, and as a bottom line, it improves the national security and allows the country economy to enter and play on the recognised international level as a full-scale and approved counterpart.
It was this particular objective that was put before the MBA Programme participants, and we are proud to affirm that they have completed their education with remarkable results.

We are pleased with the meaningful changes achieved and we look forward to working with partners in the Ukraine in the future.
