The Energy Community’s Energy and Climate Committee, in cooperation with the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action and the EU Regional Implementation of the Paris Agreement project, hosted a multi-stakeholder discussion on climate change under the “Talanoa Dialogue” process on 10 October in Vienna.
Clima-Med has presented the objectives of the project at the ‘Peer to Peer Dialogue for Supporting Local Authoritiesʹ Efforts in Energy Transition: Innovation and Research to Develop Energy Efficiency and Climate Solutions’, organized by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) during the International Beirut Energy Forum 2018.
The Project “Technical Assistance for Strengthening the National Nature Protection System for Implementation of Natura 2000 Requirements” officially ended on the 6th of September 2018 and the successful 36-month implementation period was celebrated with an event at the Bilkent Hotel in Ankara with the participation of more than 200 people.
A Delegation with high-officials, led by Ms Mungunchimeg Sanjaa - Vice Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (MoLSP), the Director of the Research institute for Labour and Social Protection, and managers at the General Office for Labour and Social Welfare Service in Mongolia were in Ireland, where our SECiM project organised a 5-day study visit (SV) to help our beneficiaries shape employment policy in Mongolia, and elaborate a draft “Law on Employment Promotion”.

The European Union is supporting Ukraine in building a sound regulatory environment for non-bank financial services. Specifically, it contributes to ensuring operational independence and enforcement powers of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) through the EU-funded project "Strengthening the Regulation and Supervision of the Non-Bank Financial Market" (EU-FINREG).
At the end of July, the final conference for the “Department of Higher Education & Training: Mobilising stakeholders for Technical and Vocational Education and Training Dual System”, a project implemented with funds from the call of proposals launched by the HD-led “EU – SA Dialogue Facility”, was held. More than 150 participants, the Ambassador of the European Union, Dr Marcus Cornaro, representatives of the Austrian, German and Polish embassies, attended the event.
Human Dynamics is proud to announce that we have been awarded a one-year cost-extension to our highly successful project: “Transformation Triggering Facility” in Ethiopia. This project started in December 2013 and will now continue until August 2019 with an additional budget of €1,008,600. This brings the total budget to €5.6 million.
The HD-led “EU for Stronger Public Finance System of Local Governments” project had its first Steering Committee Meeting in Kiev on July 19th, where our team met with the major stakeholders for the project and high-level officials from the beneficiaries.

The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs officially launched the Chilungamo (Justice and Accountability) Programme on Friday, July 13th, 2018, at Kasangu Community Ground in the Kasungu Municipality. Human Dynamics’ team of experts are engaged to contribute to this justice system project, which aims to create a fair and effective legal, equal access to justice, and respect for human rights.
We are pleased to announce that we have received a project extension for our EU project in Nigeria: “Technical assistance for the implementation of the water supply and sanitation sector reform project, phase III (WSSSRP III)”. This two-year extension adds another €4.7 million to our contract budget, which is now €12.9 million in total and the total project duration is now 74 months long.
