Project Description: 

The overall objective of this project is to ensure continuous improvement of the vocational education and training (VET) system in Croatia especially in connection with role of VET teachers and in-service teacher training in a system based on qualifications and learning outcomes.

The purposes are as follows:

  • Improvement of in-service VET teacher training system and raising its quality
  • To strengthen role and responsibilities of AVETAE in planning, development and implementation of modern continuous in-service VET teacher training in a system based on learning outcomes.

Position: Key expert 1 - Team Leader and VET Teacher HRD Expert
Duration of the assignment: min 300 work days over 18 months

Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree
- MA in education is considered to be an asset
- Fluency in both written and spoken English

General professional experience:
- 10 years professional experience in the secondary level VET out of which at least 5 years in the development of HRD of VET teachers at a senior level (in managerial positions)
- 3 years of work experience of acting as a Team Leader in internationally funded project
- Work experience in EU pre-accession countries is an asset

Specific professional experience:
- Experience working with secondary level VET institutions on the issues related to in-service VET teacher training implementation
- 1 year of experience in working with common European tools and policies (i.e. ECVET, EQF, EQAVET, etc.) in the field of VET
- Experience in quality assurance mechanisms in VET is an asset

Position: Key expert 2 - VET Teacher Training Curriculum Expert
Duration of the assignment: min 200 work days over 18 months

Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree
- Fluency in both written and spoken English

General professional experience:
- 10 years of professional experience in the secondary level VET
- Work experience in EU pre-accession countries is considered an asset

Specific professional experience:
- 2 years of experience with TNA approach
- 2 years of experience in development of VET teacher training curriculum
- 2 years of experience in development of VET teachers occupational standards or equivalent documents
- Experience in working with qualifications based on learning outcomes is an asset
- Experience in capacity building activities in the field of secondary level VET is an asset

Position: Key expert 3 - E-learning Solutions Expert
Duration of the assignment: min 150 work days over 18 months

Qualifications and skills:
- University degree in IT
- Fluency in both written and spoken English

General professional experience:
- 5 years of professional experience in the secondary level VET
- Work experience in EU pre-accession countries is considered an asset

Specific professional experience:
- 2 years of experience with development of e-learning methods and/or tools in the field of VET
- Experience in preparation and delivery of trainings is an asset
